F is for Food – and finding ways to bring fabulous food to families and friends all over the world so that we can all be naturally beautiful women (and men and kids).
So I have to applaud Jamie Oliver and his Foundation (www.jamieoliver.com/foundation/) because his “mission is to raise awareness of the importance of nutritious food and cooking and their impact on the lives of everyone, especially children.”
I can tell you all about aromatherapy and bath salts and sugar scrubs and fennel for flavor. But when it comes to taking care of your natural health and your natural beauty, the first place we have to go is inside – to your organs and systems and digestion and blood and everything else inside of that wonderful body of yours – and to make sure that you are taking care of what goes into it. Pure drinking water and fresh vegetables and fruits and healthy grains and a little bit of wholesome, humanely raised animal protein – this is the way to natural health and beauty.
Jamie Oliver started a Food Revolution and you’ve got to give him a lot of credit. Teachers and students all over the world have taken an interest in natural health and fat kids are getting thinner, and sick kids are getting healthier. And they’re learning how to do it frugally.
So, Jamie Oliver, I congratulate you and give you a great big “A” (even though F is for Food!).
