Jump Start Your Weight Loss

Congratulations!  You’ve decided it’s time to make a change and you are now committed to losing weight and getting into shape.

Here’s a couple of tips that will get you started and keep you on the right track:

1.  Increase the amount of water you drink.  I know I talk about water a lot (see Previous Post:  D is Drink Water – The #1 Key to Natural Health) and I can’t stress enough that this is the key to natural health – and to weight loss!  If you drink lots and lots of water, it will help to push lots and lots of food out of you.  Yes, you’ll be in the bathroom a lot, but that just means it’s working!

2.  Eat lots of Fiber.  Fiber in the form of whole grains and vegetables, will also help in digestion and push lots and lots of food out!  By upping the amount of fiber you eat and water you drink, you’ll be amazed at how much easier being on a diet can be.  See Previous Post:  F is for Fiber – The Facts for Fabulous Natural Health.

3.  Take a Walk!  If you’ve been sitting around in front of your computer too much (oh, wait – that’s me!), get up and take a walk.  A simple 20 minute walk will not only help you jump start your weight loss program, it will also pump up your endorphins and leave you feeling happy, reduce your stress, and make you feel good all over!
