K is for Kitchen Cosmetics – CuKes, Parsley, Yogurt Facial

Cucumbers from your Kitchen for Natural Beauty

I just opened up my refrigerator to see what type of things I could put on my face to make my skin moist and luxurious.  And what I found was a cucumber, some parsley and some yogurt (among other things).

So I whipped them out and mixed them all together and slathered it all over my face and I am feeling as though I just had a wonderful facial at a fabulous spa!

This Cucumber-Parsley face mask is very simple to make and apply.  You’ll need one tablespoon of yogurt, one half of a cucumber, and about a tablespoon of parsley.  Put it all in the blender and blend it to a creamy consistency.  Wash your face and cover it with the Cucumber-Parsley mixture.  Let it sit for about 15 to 20 minutes.  Lie back and take two cucumber slices and cover your eyes.  Rinse with warm water and apply a moisturizer.  This cool refreshing facial mask will rejuvenate your face while it moisturizes your skin!
